Thiomed 15mg (Thiotepa for Injection USP) is a chemotherapy medication used to treat various types of cancer, including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, and bladder cancer. It is also sometimes used in bone marrow transplant procedures to help treat certain hematologic cancers like leukemia or lymphoma.

Thiotepa works by interfering with the DNA inside cancer cells, preventing their ability to divide and grow, thereby slowing or stopping the spread of cancer. Thiomed is administered intravenously or intrathecally (directly into the cerebrospinal fluid) under careful medical supervision, as it can cause significant side effects such as bone marrow suppression and nausea. Regular blood tests and close monitoring are required during treatment to manage these risks.
